Abstract: According to IPCC carbon emission calculation instruction, the amount of industrial carbon emission of downtown of Nanning from 2003-2012 is evaluated. With LMDI element decomposition method, the carbon emission of industrial energy consumption in Nanning downtown is decomposed into effect of five aspects such as energy structure, energy intensity, industrial structure, economic scale and population size. It turns out that: the energy structure change can promote the increase of carbon emission. The energy consumption structure should be optimized and the proportion of high-carbon energy consumption should be reduced; The energy intensity is the leading driving factor of carbon emission. The energy efficiency should be further improved to control the increase of carbon emission to some degree; The industrial structure restrains the increase of carbon emission in a great degree. Industrial restructuring should be strengthened and low-carbon industry should be developed; The scale of economy is the main driving factor of the increase of carbon emission. The extensive way of economic growth which depends on the large input of production factors should be changed; The population has a promoting function the increase of carbon emission, while the driving effect is weak, and the growth rate of the population should be strictly controlled.

Abstract: This paper analyzes the status quo in China regarding carbon emissions, and discusses challenges facing coal utilization in China. It concludes that the development of clean coal technology is an important means to realize low-carbon emissions in China. Using scenario analysis methodology, this paper presents quantitative analysis of the potential of clean coal technologies for carbon emission reductions in 2015 and 2020. The analysis indicates that high-efficiency combustion in industrial boilers and clean, highly efficient coal-fired power generation should serve as important factors for carbon emission reductions before 2020.

Abstract: The similarity in water environment variation course and economic development of the Taihu Lake riverbasin and Japan is analyzed and harnessing countermeasures are introduced. The close relation between economic development and water environment is analyzed. It is suggested that coordinated development policy of “Population-Resources-Environment-Economy” should be adopted. The research results demonstrate that water quality variation trend of the Taihu Lake riverbasin in the period of 1980s-the late 1990s was very similar the that of Japan in the period of 1960s-1980s, the rapid economic development of the Taihu Lake Riverbasin in the 1980s-1990s was similar to that of Japan rapid economic development period of 1960s.-1970s, the economic development level and water environment state of Japan in 1970 was very similar to that of the Taihu Lake Riverbasin in 1998,the economic development and water environment variation of the Taihu Lake riverbasin lags behind 20 plus years than that of Japan. We can infer the present and future situation of the Taihu Lake according to the history and present social-economic and water environment development situation of Japan.

Abstract: A dynamic comprehensive simulation model is constructed to evaluate the economic and environmental impact of reclaimed water utilization. One objective function and three sub-model is consisted the simulation model. Lingo software is used to solve this model. The simulation result shows that the utilization of reclaimed water is a feasible approach to the achievement of the water pollutant reduction and economic development.

Abstract: Industrial park is a key point for economic progress under the background of realizing ecological civilization development. In the process of industrial park development, ecological management and guidance have important practical significance in changing economic growth mode, promoting green, low carbon and cyclic industry, improving coordination and common development for economy and environment. This paper in-depth analyzes the important role of industrial park and management problems to be solved in terms of current situation. As for the problems, this paper gives the key concerns and practices on the management of industrial park, and then provides feasible safeguard measures for policy adjustment and support to improve the environmental management.

Abstract: From 1980 to 2012 there were 80% carbon dioxide emission from traditional fossil energy in the world, and the proportion reached 90% in China, which was the top of carbon dioxide emission and energy consumption. In order to release the pressure of short term energy-saving and emission-reduction, as well as implement energy system cleaning in long term, reversing the positive situation of energy structure adjustment and the advancing the continuous evolution of energy consumption structure will be the effective methods. This paper takes Hebei Province and the whole country as the research objects, analyzes the influence of energy consumption structure changes on carbon dioxide emission and the correlation effect between energy consumption structure and carbon dioxide emission intensity by constructing a correlation model between energy consumption structure and carbon dioxide emission intensity, discusses the effective strategies for the regional energy-saving and emission-reduction.

Abstract: The fan industry has developed rapidly because of the large demand in the fields of thermal power, metallurgy and so on. There are many manufacturers in Zhejiang Province. However, energy efficiency projects are not carried out sufficiently in those factories. Compared with foreign standards on fan energy efficiency such as ANSI/AMCA 205 and ISO 12759, national standard GB 19761 still has some disparity in the scope of application, the energy efficiency classification and definition of energy efficiency. Using the experience of foreign standards and vigorously promoting the energy efficiency projects in the fan manufacturing enterprises could accelerate the development of domestic standard system on fan energy efficiency and entire fan industry.

Abstract: Eco-Industrial Park (EIP) is one of the most important practice forms of industrial ecology theory. Since the late 1990s EIP was introduced to China, many traditional industrial parks got down to construct EIPs. Represented by the National Eco-industrial Demonstration Parks (NEDPs), there were 85 parks passed the review of NEDPs construction planning, and 26 parks were named by NEDPs. In developing of the EIPs in China, there was still lack of clear and accurate understanding of the concept and connotation of EIPs. Based on the summary and analysis of the representative EIP definitions by domestic and foreign scholars, in combination with the practical situation of the industrial structure adjustment and industrial park development in China, this study put forward the three main points of EIP connotation. That meant that the coordinate development of the second industry and third industry; the construction of eco-industrial chain; the coordination development of economy and environment.

Abstract: The Suzhou River once was a seriously polluted belt gathered by a large number of factories with the growth mode of high material consumption, high energy consumption, high pollution and low technology. With the industrial restructuring, the tertiary industry replaced the secondary industry, and business, real estate, tourism, creative industry have become the major industry beside the Suzhou River. Relying on the river coordinated function, the Suzhou River showed its industrial charm with additional role of sightseeing, tourism and recreation. It is the right decisions and strong measures of Shanghai municipal government that make the Suzhou River, the previously polluted river, flow to an ecological civilization.
