Abstract: The article presents the results of studies on measuring components of force of diamond burnishing of surfaces with variable radius of curvature. The impact of structural elements of burnishing tools of different types on components of burnishing force was analyzed. The impact of different actuators of burnishing tools on components of burnishing force was analyzed. The design of the burnishing tool with an air receiver (bellows with compressed air as an actuator) with a parallelogram-type mounting of the indenter on the four flat posts, which ensures burnishing of profiled and other types of surfaces with constant force Py, was proposed.

Abstract: During the grinding process the main role is played by the vibrating phenomena caused by primary imbalance of a wheel, features of its structure, and also the existence of a component arising in the general scale of vibrations and caused by the change of the structure of a working surface of a grinding wheel, wear of its working abrasive grains during the process. Intensity and amount of wear of the grinding wheel depends on conditions of grinding operation – kind of grinding, processed material, etc. In turn, the existence of close correlation connection between parameters of vibrations and modes of grinding allows to assume, that vibrating processes possess sufficient information and can form the basis for an assessment and forecast the perfection factor of a grinding wheel directly in operating conditions.

Abstract: This article presents results of research on microcutting mechanics and dispersed structure of metallopolymers. Main differences of the metallopolymers cutting from conventional steels and alloys were determined - under enhancing dispersion of the metallopolymers plastic cutting is almost absent; in case of grain included into solid metallopolymer inclusion, inclusion particles can stick to this grain resulting in cutting, performed by this inclusion. This document includes results of the inclusions metric parameters calculation, based on the metallopolymers dispersed structure microscopic study.

Abstract: The article considers briefly the hand power tool market in Russia. The authors set the parameters of a wave gear electric drill with intermediate rolling solids. Its field of application is also described. The design is developed on the basis of a commutator motor with a useful capacity 1,0 kW. The rotation speed of the motor armature is 15000 rpm. The rational rotation frequency of an auger working body is 200...300rpm. It is necessary to create a gear with a ratio 59 and with parameters comparable to the size of a hand-held machine engine in order to have esthetics. In this case, the diameter of rolling elements should lie in the range 2 to 3 mm. The authors made a research on hand-held electric drill runnability with such characteristics. They presented dependency diagrams of an auger working body critical rotation frequency from a lead angle while drilling different types of soil. They determined important power and geometrical criteria to design a gearbox. The calculation results are presented in tables.

Abstract: This paper illustrates the analysis of wedge angle influence on force distribution in the meshing of double pitch point cycloid drive in comparison with single pitch point cycloid drive. Double pitch point cycloid drive may provide smoother performance of transmission at starting period in consequence of wedge angle variation capabilities. Matching initial parameters it is possible to modify the wedge angle and achieve its effective value. The influence of various combinations of initial parameters on the wedge angle and retainer force was studied and presented on diagrams. Some recommendations in designing related to performance improvement are given. The obtained results can be used for further development of better designs of cycloid drives.

Abstract: The increasing of vibration stability for the technological system is always the vital task for different material processing. Vibration stability increasing methods are divided into constructive and technological. It’s necessary to take into consideration different factors such as vibration whence, vibration parameters, immediate changing of processing mode possibility while choosing the method of vibration decreasing for the technological systems. The present article is reviewing the research methods of milling technology elements as one of the basis of technological methods for increasing of vibration stability.

Abstract: Results of development of geometrical model of a shaping of a polished surface at surface grinding by the periphery of a wheel are presented in article. The developed model allows to predict a roughness of the processed surface depending on basic parameters of operation: speeds of rotation of the tool and translational motion of workpiece, wheel parameters – granularity and structure, depth of cutting and other parameters. Results of experimental check of the developed model are given in article.

Abstract: In this research power rock cutting mechanisms are considered. Impact and vibratory impact mechanisms are presented, their design characteristics are given. The new peenless power pulse hydraulic mechanism is considered, its operating principle is described, and the schematic diagram is provided. The new system can be used at building of the new rock-drilling machines with a hydraulic actuator for the intensification of the process of rocks destruction.
