The Influence of Melting Technology and Out-of-Furnace Treatment on Composition of Nonmetallic Impurities in Rail Electric Steel

Article Preview

Abstract:

The paper considers the influence of melting technology and out-of-furnace treatment on the nature and amount of nonmetallic impurities in rail steel. The dependence of the nature of nonmetallic impurities on oxygen concentration in steel is stated. The paper demonstrates the influence of oxygen concentration on rail metal quality.
