Operational Modal Test for Wind Turbine Gearbox

Article Preview

Abstract:

Wind turbine gearbox is a key component of wind power system and it is prone to failure because of complex working environment, so the vibration and noise problems of it can not be ignored. The modal parameters of gearbox can be got by experiment method, which is a necessary condition to improve the structure of gearbox and make dynamic analysis and design to it. Modal testing has been used to gearbox by operational modal analysis which is in several actual working conditions and the modal parameters in corresponding working conditions is obtained by stochastic subspace identification. Meanwhile the acceleration response of wind turbine gearbox’s high-speed output shaft in different working conditions was also analyzed.
