The Design of Power Transmission of Electric Screw Press Directly Driven by Permanent Magnet Disc Synchronous Motor

Article Preview

Abstract:

Screw press is a significant forging equipment, its most important advantage is exact energy control which ensures high process reliability and repeatability, furthermore, using low speed large torque motor directly driving the press can remove the clutch, gear, belt, et al driving device, so that the power consumption could be reduced effectively. In this paper, a novel electric screw press directly driven by permanent magnet disc synchronous motor is presented, Referring to the technical parameters from the J58K electric screw press, the method which calculates the structure and electromagnetic parameters of the power transmission is introduced.
