Characterizations of Conductors in Quartic Number Fields with Ramified Prime

Article Preview

Abstract:

Let OK be the ring of Integers of a Field K. By an order O in K we mean a subring of OK containing a Q-basis for the field K. The largest ideal of OK contained in O is called the conductor of O. In this paper we investigate conductor ideals whose norm is a power of some ramified prime in quartic number fields.
