Experimental Study on Reinforced Hollow Beam with Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer and External Prestressed Strand

Article Preview

Abstract:

With the development of bridge reinforcement technology, various reinforcement methods has matured, however, just rely on a reinforcement method can not meet the current needs of the project. With carbon fiber reinforced polymer and external prestressed strand to reinforce hollow beam is a comprehensive and effective reinforcement method, we study the combined reinforcement mechanism of carbon fiber reinforced polymer and external prestressed strand through the true type hollow beam experiment, and lay the foundation for the promotion of composite reinforcement technology.
