Cationic Counter-Ions as the Controlling Regulation for the Equilibrium Size of POMs in Solutions

Article Preview

Abstract:

DLS measurements and TEM observations show that the size of the shells grows linearly with the inverse of the dielectric constant of the medium. From the results ,it can be found that two factors of charges and size of the cationic counter-ions can be used to regulate the size of the single-layer shells formed by {Mo72Fe30} in dilute solution.
