A Study of the Suitability Standards of Sports Facilities in Counties Governed by Ankang City

Abstract:

In this article, writers analysed the current situation of sports facilities development in 9 counties governed by Ankang City, deeply investigated the building, using and demands of sports facilities, draw the conclusions of the origins of problems which existing in current building, programming standards in the counties; considered the development requirements, trends, and related building standards of sports facilities, writers discussed the suitability standards of sports facilities which suit the counties governed by Ankang City; brought forward that the counties should be the most straightforward units of urbanization which accelerate the transform of agricultural population to non-agricultural population. The configuration of sports facilities should satisfy the demand of both urban citizens and populations in surrounding counties and rural area. The suitability standards fit the characteristics of each individual region, moreover, they are provided with pertinence and applicability. Suitability standards should contain two aspects: supporting the construction of facilities system and related standards, they content: facility types, facility dimensions, serving population, index of per thousand people etc.
