A Study on Appraisal System of Open Space Suitability of City Square in Luoyang

Abstract:

From the perspectives of component elements of space and its functions and practicability, four appraisal factors, boundary, vegetation landscape, recreational facilities and human activities, are screened, and 18 appraisal indexes are established in this study. Analytic hierarchy Process (AHP) is employed to determine index weight, and establish the appraisal system of open space suitability of city square in Luoyang at last. The case study of City Square in Luoyang is conducted to provide theoretical basis for the reasonable and scientific design of city square in the future.
