Abstract: In this paper, a measurement system is designed to deal with the problem of measurement of the coal moisture content. Based on the measurement principle including standing-wave ratio and permittivity, develop the whole measurement system from the hardware and software aspects. The measurement system of coal moisture content based on standing-wave ratio has the advantages of less measuring time, higher accuracy and larger measurement range according to the results. And it can apply in the coal moisture content measurement in many industry fields.

Abstract: The radar simulator practice of the controller-to-be was studied in this paper, according to the control instruction classification and the statistics of their occurrence frequency and time. The air traffic controller-to-be workload model and weight calculate algorithm based on the radar service type was proposed. The concept of workload sensitivity was defined, though which the relationship between workload and traffic. Research on the workload of the controller-to-be is of great importance for setting reasonable radar simulator exercise, as well as cultivating the control skills of the students.

Abstract: Large geoelectric field generated in the ground during severe space weather events are sources of geomagnetically induced currents (GICs), which flow in power systems potentially causing damage to system component or failure of the system. In this paper, based on the H and D components of the recent geomagnetic storm data measured at 10 mid-to-low latitude geomagnetic observatories, we analyzed the variation characteristics of the amplitude of north-south and east-west geoelectric components with geographic latitudes. Furthermore, we discussed the possibilities of GIC problem occurrence in transmission lines in different directions at different latitude in China. The result shows that transmission lines in east-west direction at higher latitude are more susceptible to space weather hazard. And it will contribute to the assessment of geomagnetic hazard to power systems and the control of GIC in the current and future power grids in China.

Abstract: This article describes the problems associated with the electrical equipment condition control and life cycle monitoring at electrical substations. This article contains a basic approach of electrical equipment life cycle assessment derived from the actual equipment condition analysis. A graphical interpretation of the 110 kV power transformer life cycle based on the statistical analysis is also figured out.

Abstract: This paper presents an integrated experimental platform of Shipboard Power System (SPS) control system. It was established with equipment of three 100KW diesel generator sets, electric power network, 270KW loads of resistance and inductance, 24KW AC motor drive control system and shipboard automatic power station. The power system and generator sets of experimental platform run under controllers of M340 PLC and PPU. The hardware environment of two layers network is formed for experiments and control programs developing. Field bus and Ethernet technologies are applied for the experimental platform. Combining with some relevant developing software of platform, programs of real time control and electric energy management can be developed and realized for generator sets and electric power network and shipboard power station. Data of SPS experiments can be sampled and recorded in Ethernet computer through sensors, PPU, PLC and Field bus facilities. Also, the functions of SPS characteristic analysis and faults alarming can be implemented by Ethernet computers. This physical experimental platform satisfies the requirements of analysis and research for SPS automatic control.

Abstract: The dissertation establishes simulation model of intelligent FCL on-shore controlling circulation current, which can realize effective control of largest ring current when the shore power is connected to ship electrical system, and can further complete seamless connection between ship and shore power, so as to realize the ship energy conservation and emissions reduction in port. And also demonstrates paralleling on-shore control on-shore power grid on the intelligent platform into the ship`s power grid of generators, and FCL uses reactor to control inrush circulation current, which uses finite circulation current to complete the average voltage and automatic synchronization of the generator, being capable of taking the on-shore power into the generator power grid and exiting from that; moreover, parallels intelligent on-shore controlling marine generators of the power grid into on-shore power grid. Basically unchanging the ship power station, realizing uninterruptable power on-shore connection, at the same time realizing the ship electricity pricing such as wisdom.

Abstract: Aiming at the problem that sail-assisted ship is easy to yaw because of sail’s lateral force and adjusts its course slowly due to wind, wave and other interferences on the sea, this paper put forward a feedforward feedback control method based on fuzzy system. According to the relationship between lateral force and yaw angle, a feedforward controller was designed to offset the yaw of ship. In order to correct the drift angle of ship automatically, the feedback controller was fulfilled to track the given course. Feedback control loop adopted fuzzy self-adjusting PD controller to make the drift angle be adjusted in time. The simulations indicate that the feedforward feedback control can suppress the disturbance produced by lateral force effectively, enhance the stability of the system and accelerate the response speed.

Abstract: Based on the basic idea of biological gene sequencing method,“Shotgun Method”,this paper proposes a new method of heat/power load optimizing distribution,named as “Shotgun Method”.This method is mainly based on historical operating data of thermal power plant,and puts the reciprocal of fuel utilization coefficient in the physical sense—factory comprehensive standard coal consumption rate as thermal economic index.Through the calculation of thermal system of principle,every unit can get its own coal consumption characteristic equation,as the foundation operating condition library for the heat/power load distribution.“Shotgun Method” aims at minimum factory comprehensive standard coal consumption rate to establish mathematical model for seeking the best match between operating condition library of each unit.The application instance shows that this method is simple,practical,and the energy saving effect is remarkable.

Abstract: wireless sensor network (WSN) nodes based on self-powered function have distinct advantages of battery free and no needing line power, used successfully in lighting control system of modern building. Energy balance and power balance are considered in design of battery-free sensor module. Average current in self-powered wireless sensor module was evaluated based on viewpoint of power balance. Energy balance was discussed in building lighting control system based on special energy storage of super-capacitor. Self-powered wireless sensor module is based on energy harvesting from ambient circumstance. In lighting control system of modern building automation battery-free sensor module has been successfully applied for maintenance and energy saving. The application of battery-free sensor module was analyzed.
