Abstract: Vacuum arc is supported by metal vapor which comes from cathode spots, the research on cathode spots can reveal the nature of vacuum arc, this will help improve the breaking capacity of the vacuum switch. This paper constructs the research platform which is based on vacuum arcing chamber, the contact material is CuCr50, through high-speed camera on the cathode spots, analysis found that: cathode spots usually consist of multiple micro spots, these spots stay together and form a micro-spot group; the minimum maintain current of a single micro spot is 7A, and the upper limit current is 25A; the upper limit current of a single cathode spot is 100A; along with the increase of current, the division of the micro-spot group will be more and more obvious, and eventually evolve into multiple independent cathode spots.

Abstract: The fine blanking press supports huge impact load and high-speed stamping frequency in the work process, and the deformation of the molds and the precision of components are significantly influenced by the deformation and vibration of the press. The frame under impact load and stamping frequency, thus the frame structure is the key factor to ensure the reliable work. To make the virtual prototype of the 12000KN fine blanking press frame meet requirements in the best way, the concept design of the frame was built. And optimal interval of the frame stiffness and first order natural frequency were find according to finite element analysis, which can lay the foundation for the design of an ideal frame.

Abstract: As computers and computational methods continue to develop, the possibilities of using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in the ship design process is rapidly increasing. Potential flow methods, and even simpler methods, are used regularly, whereas viscous calculations, using Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) models, are rapidly becoming feasible with respect both to the necessary computational resources and the achieved accuracy. Scale-model tests usually provide resistance and powering curves, which are difficult for computations to reproduce, as well as providing detailed data in important regions. Computations provide an overall picture of the flow that can help in its understanding and thus also in the hull development process. A combination of model tests and computations appears to be the best approach to develop novel hull concepts, and should be promoted even further. However, even RANS have limitations, mainly for applications where small-scale and/or unsteady flow phenomena are of interest but also when new, innovative designs are developed, the reliability of RANS may be problematic. This present work, describes the implementation of CFD techniques for determining the calm water resistance of a ship at different speeds. The ship hull flow is analysed for different ship speeds in calm water conditions. The results obtained from CFD analysis are compared with available standard results.

Abstract: With the rapid development of the economy, the automotive industry and road transport have also been rapidly developed. Road traffic accidents occur frequently, which not only brings a lot of inconvenience to road traffic management but also threatens people's lives and property. In many road accidents, vehicle collisions are the most serious and dangerous also the largest. So having a comprehensive, systematic study of the car's collision is becoming the world's most pressing subject. The whole process of the collision of moving vehicle is inseparable from the role of the force. So in order to better analyze vehicle collisions and reproduce this process, a lot of mechanical knowledge should be required. This paper studies the vehicle accident reconstruction mechanical problems, laying the foundation of further research.

Abstract: The conveyer belt is a major component of the conveyor , whose cost accounted for half of the of the entire cost of the conveyor. The loss of the conveyor is mainly due to the use of friction and wear generated in the process, so study on the friction characteristics is very meaningful. The friction and wear of the conveyor is one of the factors affecting their life. Therefore, conducting applied research on belt conveyors and mechanical analysis becomes increasingly important. In this paper, some qualitative research on the mechanical properties is carried out, starting from the application of the conveyor belt.

Abstract: Air pollution causes health problem. The paper simply analyzed the changes of air quality in the Yuxi city urban area from 2006 to 2012. In the Yuxi city urban area between 2006 and 2012, SO2 levels increased about 43.9 percent; NO2 levels increased about 13.3 percent; PM10 levels in 2012 decreased about 1.5 percent. By evaluating the air quality in the Yuxi city urban area, the results showed that air quality index was the maximum in 2009, and the quality of the air in Yuxi became worse from 2006 to 2012, air pollution in 2009 was the heaviest between 2006 to 2012. After adopting P.R.C EPA air quality standards (GB3095-2012) in 2013, the first air pollutant in Yuxi is PM10, and then it is SO2 among SO2, NO2 and PM10.Much should beend done to reduce the amount of PM10 and SO2 released.

Abstract: Environmental tobacco smoke (ETS), also known as second-hand smoke (SHS), is a complex mixture of chemicals generated during the burning and smoking of tobacco products. Smoking has become the most important indoor air pollutant source in China in terms of human health. The paper firstly analyzed the health effects of environmental tobacco smoke, the conditions of the environmental tobacco smoke exposure in recent years, and environmental impact of environmental tobacco smoke. The exposure to ETS that has influence on human heath, specially the women and children is the important risk factor. Meantime, the ETS exposure rate in the crowd has risen in recent years, and the public places, workplaces and families that pose the ETS exposure are the main sites. Second-hand smoke severely impact on the indoor air quality, especially it is the most important pollutant source of indoor air PM2.5. The exposure to Environmental Tobacco Smoke (ETS) does severe harm not only to the people’s lives and health, but also to social economic development in China. Finally, the paper put up with some suggestions to control environmental tobacco smoke in China.

Abstract: Methane fermentative residue is comprised of biogas slurry and biogas residue. It is important by-product of methane fermentative. It contains rich nutrients such as N,P,K, amino acids, humic acid, B vitamins hormone-based active substance. Add the methane fermentative residue (MFR) into the feeding-stuff can increase the efficiency of it. And it also can improve the quality of the pork. The family who owned the household biogas plant want raise pig will make the ecological agriculture come true if they recycle and reuse the methane fermentative residue.

Abstract: The paper aims to explore influence of elements of transition metal (TM) and rare earth (RE) on iron-carbon micro-electrolysis for dyeing effluent degradation. There is evidence that there aren't many reports about it in domestic literature. The paper analysed the morphologies of surfaces of irons and activated carbons and designed the orthogonal experiments. Next was discussion for related influence factors. It deduced the mechanism that TMs and REs assist zero-valent iron (Fe0) catalysing degradation of dyeing effluent. It is based on following explanation. Cations of manganese and cobalt easily penetrate Fe0 lattices, but doesn't Ce4+ because of larger radius. Thus Ce4+ is weaker than Mn2+ and Co2+ for improving Fe0 activity. Furthermore, because the valence electron structure of Mn2+ is more stable than that of Co2+, Mn2+ is more efficient to assist Fe0 degrading dyeing effluent than Co2+. Therefore, the ranking of affecting Fe0 activity from greatest to smallest is Mn2+, Co2+ and Ce4+.
