Abstract: In this paper, the Shitoukoumen reservoir of Yinma River basin has carried on the detailed investigation, use the over flow curve section of upstream and downstream the Shitoukoumen reservoir ecological base flow calculation, and sensitive water demand calculation. Considering the reservoir scheduling of economic benefits, ecological benefits and social benefits, and construct a complete set of reservoir scheduling optimization model, provides a theoretical basis for Shitoukoumen reservoir water dispatching

Abstract: The heat transfer property of double skin façade’s façade was analyzed and summarized from the façade’s ventilation pattern, shading mode, cavity width, cavity height, vent openings, the glass optical property and its sequence and convection methods. It showed that the analysis of double skin facade should employ various research methods on the basis of dynamic analysis and comprehensively take multiple factors into consideration on the grounds of actual situation for which may have effects on the heat transfer property of curtains. As a result, more double skin façade with a higher performance of heat transfer can be invented.

Abstract: This study evaluated environmental factors affecting on sediment and nutrient loads in Lam Takong River basin, Northeastern region of Thailand, using the results of SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool) model. The simulation from 2007-2009 showed that mean annual sediment, NO3-N and TP at the outlet were 8.134 t/ha, 0.879 kg/ha and 1.213 kg/ha, respectively. Seven factors were significantly related to soil erosion including slope, elevation, agriculture, wetland, deciduous forest, evergreen forest and orchard. In addition, two factors were significantly related to NO3-N including surface runoff and urban area. Finally, four factors were significantly related to TP including surface runoff, elevation, deciduous forest and orchard. Modification of these factors can reduce sediment and nutrient loads in this basin.

Abstract: Through an underwater camera at the WES Weir of the Dayuandu Project, the heavy sedimentation on the Weir’s floor can be observed. The sediment changes the water flow patterns before the Weir, resulting in Weir surface wear and sluice leakage. Mathematical models and physical had been builded to analyze the effect of the erosion. The results of these observations provide a reasonable and effective scheduling method to solve the siltation problems in front ofthe WES Weir. Once there are sufficient flow intensity, the ternary complex flow patterns will contribute to the incipient motions of sediment, acquireing desirable effect of sedimentation Control.

Abstract: The Yellow River estuary intertidal area is located in transitional zone of the junction of ocean and land, the environment is complicated under the alternating action of physical and chemical factors. Microorganism as an important part of the mudflats environmental ecological system, the distribution of total number of bacteria and microbial activities are affected by environmental conditions. In this article, we surveyed the Yellow River estuary intertidal area in August, November 2012, and March 2013 to study the distribution characteristics of total number of bacteria and microbial activities. Results showed that both of them have unique distribution, influence of temperature and chlorophyll a are obvious, the effect of grain size is relatively weak.

Abstract: In order to study the applicability of different weighted methods for indexes to evaluate the health status of basin. The base-system of water theory was introduced, which was used to evaluate the health status of Naolihe catchment. The analytic hierarchy process, entropy weighted method and the variation coefficient method were adopted to calculate the weight of indexes in the base-system of water. The analytic hierarchy process belongs to subjective evaluation method and the other two methods belong to objective evaluation method. Two of the three methods above were joined together, which was called a comprehensive method. In this paper, the three single methods and two comprehensive methods were adopted to calculate indexes’ weights of the base-system of water. The case study results showed that the single analytic hierarchy process was better than the other two single methods and the two comprehensive methods were better than the three single methods. In addition, the comprehensive method 1 (the analytic hierarchy process + entropy weighted method) was better than the comprehensive method 2 (the analytic hierarchy process + the variation coefficient method).

Abstract: The article gives comparative analysis of basic reserves variation of China’s fundamental energy resources during 2002-2012, including coal, petroleum and natural gas. The results show that
the growth of China’s fundamental energy resources basic reserves has entered a relatively stable period except coal. After analyzing the basic reserves variation, the change tendency can be obtained.
Finally clarify the influencing factors which lead to the change, and put forward some relevant policy and recommendations.

Abstract: In the present work, an operational air-conditioning system combined with buried pipe ground source heat pump and ice storage (ABI) was designed according to the loading characteristic of one office building. Additionally, the system running process and working mode together with the operational strategy on both designing day and non-designing day were discussed in this paper. To satisfy the cooling demand as well as cut down the operational cost, operating modes on different occasions must be planned reasonably to better control the system while running.

Abstract: Taiwan is a small island. Some of college campuses are very tiny with large hard pavement to cause un-comfortable outdoor environment. Most of faculty and students like to stay at classroom and use air-conditioner to establish comfort thermal environment. Thus, the outdoor and semi-outdoor thermal equipments are used to detect the parameters of weather. The test and analysis results show that hard pavements cause the un-comfortable outdoor comfort. Mean Radiant Temperatures of grass in summer is higher than the other pavement because that grass pavement is lack of moisture to causes bad outdoor thermal comfort. Therefore, the fine outdoor and semi-outdoor thermal comfort environment should consider the permeable pavement and grass with suitable moisture to cause better outdoor thermal environment and large arbores should be planted widely in campus to establish a better semi-outdoor thermal temperature in campus of the subtropical zone.

Abstract: According to the economic development and the requirement of leisure activities, the popularity of leisure and recreation become very popular in Taiwan. Thus, How to attract tourists to visit these leisure places becomes as a major issue. The questionnaire and outdoor and semi-outdoor comfort detecting devices are applied to analyze these real factors. The results of questionnaire display that “choose a comfortable time to recreation” and “choose the comfort of shade near the local open space” are most important factors for tourists. Then, filed test results show that actual influence factors of tourist activities are outdoor and semi-outdoor thermal comfort, such as wind velocity and surface temperature of construction materials. Thus, the suitable construction material is imitation wood for creating a comfort place.
