Abstract: The paper presents a brief presentation of researches done on a mobile elevating work platform model in a wind tunnel. The major aim of the tests was to define aerodynamic coefficients of the platform in different conditions of operation and for a variable angle of wind attack. The results may be useful in the designing process of the mobile elevating work platform.

Abstract: For the purpose of taking full advantages of the District Cooling System (DCS), the mathematical model was established based on the principle of non-decreasing state of the energy efficiency grade of the refrigeration unit and high level of the transportation energy efficiency of the cooling pipeline. Based on the mathematical model, two formula were derived. One is suitable for the scientific research concerning the length of the DCS, and the other is appropriate for the design in engineering application. The determination of the maximum length of the pipe provides an alternative for the research and design of the DCS, therefore it is worth studying.

Abstract: The switching power supply is the use of modern power electronics, by controlling the switching transistor turn-on and turn-off time ratio, maintaining a stable output voltage of the power supply. Switching power supply technology at the core, it is mainly divided into AC / DC and DC / DC two categories. Switching power supply eliminates bulky frequency transformers, replacing tens of kHz, MHz or even hundreds of kHz frequency transformer. Since the adjustment pipe work in the off state, and thus low power consumption and high efficiency.

Abstract: The value of peak gas production and the time when it reaches are two important marks for coal bed methane (CBM) well’s gas production curve. This paper takes M CBM gas field of A country’s B basin as actual production instance. Firstly, based on the CBM producing mechanism, the existence reason of peak gas rate is analyzed; secondly, the influencing factors of the value of peak gas production and the time when it reaches is studied by numerical simulation method. And sensitivity order of the influencing factors is obtained. The study results indicate that: the value of peak gas production has positive correlation with properties: permeability, gas content, coal bed net pay and gas saturation; while negative correlation with desorption time and cleat porosity. And the strong to weak intensity of sensitivity is permeability, gas content, desorption time, net coal bed pay, cleat porosity, gas saturation. The time when peak gas production reaches is markedly influenced by the value desorption time and cleat porosity, the smaller of the two parameters, the shorter of the time when peak gas production reaches.

Abstract: Because the extremely low permeability for tight gas reservoirs, lead to the way to seepage and the shape of production curves different with the convention reservoirs; this will increase the difficulty to develop the tight gas reservoirs; on the other hand, the convention exploit cannot recover the tight gas with commercial value, with this problem, the main solution is the technology of multi-stage fractured horizontal wells, the fractured can provide the channel for gas to transport, the horizontal wells can increase the seepage area of tight gas, it’s the guarantee to get the commercial value. But, at present, the study on the tight was dependent on the method of convention gas reservoirs, the production curve get from this method also the same with the convention gas reservoirs, in order to close with the really exploitation of tight gas reservoirs and provide the more accurate scientific evidence, we must study based on the feature of tight gas reservoir, in this situation, we can get the suitable production curves for tight gas reservoirs. This paper based on the feature of tight gas reservoir, combine with the model of multi-stage fractured horizontal wells, and get the production equation of tight gas, combine with the yield of discard time, we can get the type curve, and then get the C level reserves of region.

Abstract: SIS well is a successful technology for coalbed methane development. In this paper, the drilling and completion technology were introduced systematically on the aspects of optimization design of well profile, drilling equipment, drilling and completion technology of vertical well and horizontal well, and intersection technique of these two wells. Two new well patterns, i.e., commingled well and boat-shape well were also proposed. When application this technology to other areas, some improvement may should be made according to special geological data.

Abstract: As for the pricing by electrical energy quality and the decision of rewards and penalties based on the examination at assessment point, Comprehensive evaluation on power quality is one of the principal foundations. To analysis and evaluate electric power quality for electric power company is a focus research at present. In this paper, the power quality evaluation model based on the matter-element extension theory is applied to power quality evaluation service. For power quality evaluation system of the characteristics of the complexity and incompatibility between various indicators hierarchies, this paper applied the theory of matter-element extension constructing Matter-element model, and identified level of power quality of power supply company through the calculation of weight and the correlation service. Taking GanSu Grid Company as an example to evaluate power supply quality, the results show that the evaluation results of power quality evaluation method based on the matter-element evaluation method are more objective, more precise and more reasonable.

Abstract: The complexity of geological conditions results in ambiguity and uncertainty when interpreting geological data, bring difficulties to geological modeling, so quantitative evaluation of uncertainty of various geological parameters is important to establish accurate geological modeling. M coalbed methane field in eastern Australia was selected as an example to explain this process. The parameters and these uncertainty ranges were discussed firstly. And then, the impacts on calculated reserves of parameter uncertainty were analyzed. A better effect was attained in M coalbed methane field with this method.

Abstract: With the gradual introduction of biofuels II. generation, attention will be devoted to research and development of wider use of fuels of vegetable origin focused on the possibility of making and using better quality motor fuel than bioethanol. Biobutanol (n-Butanol, Butan-1-ol) is an alternative to bioethanol, which is currently commercially produced and used as a component of motor gasoline or as E85. The article introduces the principle of the evaporation of liquids and creating vapor pressure gasoline fuels with bioethanol and biobutanol. The release of particles from the liquid surface (evaporation) is a process that more or less is intensively carried out at each temperature. The saturation of vapor pressure in the system at a given temperature is at an equilibrium of gas and liquid phases. The introduction of biofuels as renewable sources brings with it a number of technical problems. The addition of bioethanol and other oxygenates in gasoline, is associated with a change in vapor pressure, which of course also applies to biobutanol. The analysis of the variance evaluates the vapor pressure characteristics of both alcohol fuels and their properties as a prerequisite for the potential introduction of biobutanol for commercial use as fuel in internal combustion engines. The article reviews the experimental analysis of the vapor pressure and selected compounds including the additives MTBE and ETBE.

Abstract: The power supply system, which is totally discussed in this paper, is of special importance for the daily operation of the cabled seafloor scientific observatory. Based on the unique features of the power supply system of the cabled seafloor scientific observatory, this paper proposes the solution of parallel direct current power supply, which is suitable for the underwater environment. According to special application environment of power supply system,this paper determines the maximum voltage and current that can be applied to the transmission system of the cabled seafloor scientific observatory.
