Abstract: In hydraulic structures, it is difficult to guarantee a converse siphon safety without good reaction force design between converse siphon structure and the foundation. Therefore, the special connection units, three dimension units, were adopted in this paper. The structural program design methods were used to compile three dimension units calculation software. It would give better solution to reaction force design between converse siphon structure and the foundation. It provided sufficient theoretical reference for a hydraulic converse siphon safety design.

Abstract: In this article a preparation of computer model of reinforcing steel rolling process using program complexes “KOMPAS” and “DEFORM-3D” is described. In result was made a model that is fully corresponded the requirements of standards by geometric sizes. This model can be used for optimization of workshop rolling parameters of the reinforcing steel.

Abstract: Dependent failures of machines may take many forms. Interactive failure is one type of the dependent failures happening among multiple subsystems. The interactive coefficient is represented by the degree of interaction between two subsystems, but it cannot be estimated in intricate interactive relationship among multiple subsystems by now. In order to solve the problem, the failure chains of the interactive failure are classified into five types in this paper and all the elements in it are defined. Then the interactive coefficient models are developed for all failure chains according to the relationship among the interactive failure rate, the independent failure rate and the dependent failure rate. The estimation of the interactive coefficient is based on failure rate equation. The results offer a solution to the problem that the interactive coefficient of multiple systems cannot be calculated. These findings provide a method to predict and design the reliability of mechanical equipment more accuracy as well as guide to optimize scheduled for the maintenance of mechanical equipment.

Abstract: This paper is aimed to determine the maximum penetration levels of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems in distribution feeders to fully utilize the solar energy for a cleaner environment by taking into account the mutual coupling effect between phase conductors. The equivalent circuit models for distribution line segments including the grounding effect and the mutual coupling between phase conductors and the grounded neutral line are applied in the computer simulation. A practical Taipower distribution feeder is selected for system analysis to study the maximum PV penetration with the proposed precise modelling of the feeder network.

Abstract: It is a general processing technology that multi-axis NC machine tools is used for machining impeller at present. In order to improve the machining accuracy of the five-axis NC machine tools, the paper analyzes the computing interpolation error of the Multi-axis CNC system in detail. Some of the measures of tools selection have been proposed in purpose of diminishing the accumulative error of the system. The paper also establishes the optimized objective function to optimize the process parameters of the CNC machining based on the material removal rate. All these measures will improve the machining efficiency significantly and increase the stationary of the machining process.

Abstract: Based on the analysis of coring, logging and experimental data, fine evaluation on Fort Copper Coal Measures (FCCM) of Early Permian Blackwater Group in north Bowen Basin of Australia has been done. FCCM is a potential coal measure. Eight coal seams exist in FCCM. Laterally, they develop steadily. Seams of FCCM characterize interbedding with partings, high ash content, high gas content and mediate-low permeability. The content of partings, which are groups of siltstone, mudstone and tuff, ranges from 15% to 55%. The cumulative thickness of pure coal ranges from 40 to 60 m. The ash content ranges from 20% to 70%, averaging 45%. Coal seams gas content is as high as 7% to 15%, benefitting from the dense rock block effect on the top and bottom, as well as the interplayers. The permeability ranges from 0.1 to 10 mD laterally. Parameters above show FCCM has good developing potential. Western slope of Nebo syncline is suggested as the favorable area, considering its good developing factors such as shallow buried depth of coal seams, relatively high permeability and effective gas preserve environment. Meanwhile, gas in partings can be considered in collaborative development strategy. Developing gas along with ash will be the focus of future development evaluation.

Abstract: Lightning protection plays a significant role in modern communication system and other electric instrument. The study of lightning current waveform has important implication for lightning protection, but the direct measurement of lightning current is too risk. So the induction lightning current waveform surveying arises at the historic moment. Depending on the capacitance of the simulated lightning discharge process based on the protel designed test circuit using self-made roche induction coil, the lightning current waveform had been simulated in the paper. Finally, by testing the system, we got a series of waveform data, and it is concluded that the characteristics of the induction lightning current under different pressure. These results would provide the theoretical basis for lightning protection.

Abstract: This paper aims at the oil depot valve internal leakage quantitative inspection using acoustic emission. On the basis of giving the valve internal leakage quantitative model, the main factors which effected quantification of leakage rates are theoretical analyzed and the relative error estimation model is presented. The influence of main factors on the accuracy of leakage quantitative model and the correctness of the relative error estimation model are verified by experiments. Finally, research mentality on how to improve leakage quantitative model is proposed.
