Abstract: Coal principal stresses with reservoir plane is analyzed, consequently coal seam crushed classification method is presented based on Hoek-Brown criterion. According to the coefficient of coal crushing, coal seam crushed coefficient size, four grades of A,B,C,D are divided for coal crushed degree along wellbore direction, and coal crushed classification standard is determined. Using the classification method and standard, the distribution regularity of coal crushing is studied for ZP-05 Well in QinShui basin. The research results show that coal crushing of ZP-05 is considered as grade B. The prediction results agree well with the measured values.

Abstract: The improvement of energy efficiency in electric power supply and demand system is involved in energy production, distribution, and using, which is a complex engineering system. Using the system theory we studied the optimization of overall resources of electric power supply and demand system. After the complex feedback mechanism of energy efficiency improvement analyzed in electric power supply and demand system, we thought that only by construction of user response subsystem can improve the energy efficiency of electric power supply and demand system. Then, some feasible suggestions for user responding subsystem were put forward.

Abstract: The establishment of isolated microgrid including wind power, storage and seawater desalination load is of significant important to the use of renewable energy and the supply of fresh water resources in island region. A real-time simulation platform based on PXI and PC is built to test the operation and control of the isolated microgrid in this paper. The digital simulation model is introduced and the coordinated control strategy of the microgrid is discussed in detail. This strategy makes use of the controllability of seawater desalination load, coordinates supercapacitor and lithium-ion battery energy storage so as to maintain the balance and stability of the isolated microgrid. Finally, the simulation results show that the correctness and feasibility of the proposed coordinated control strategy.

Abstract: This aim of this research study was to examine the design and construction, as well as to test the performance of hot air-microwave continuous belt dryer machines for drying block rubber STR 20. This industrial type of machine is divided into three major systems: 1) the hot air system, 2) the microwave heating system, and 3) the drying room and conveyor systems. The experiments in this study have shown that the machine can produce heat in the temperature range covered to dry block rubber and the temperature is precise enough within a range of 100 to 130°C (±0.5°C). Security experiments on the microwave leakage have shown that it does not exceed the standards of the HHS (no more than 5 mill watts per square centimeter). Performance experiments have indicated the heat distribution was 83.46 percent which is over 65% of what is considered normal, and the power of the microwave was measured by testing was the value of 24.42 percent of the magnetron wattage used.

Abstract: This work presents a miniaturized X-Ku band Wilkinson power divider (WPD), based on 0.18μm 1P6M CMOS foundry technology. The proposed two-dimensional transmission line, called a complementary-conducting-strip (CCS), replaces the conventional microstrip (MS) line structure. With this CCS structure, the occupying area of this novel divider is about 96 % smaller than that of the conventional MS WPD. The prototype occupies an area of only 345 μm by 360 μm without input/output (I/O) pads. The new WPD has an insertion loss of 4.9 dB, an isolation of 13 dB and a return loss 12 dB between 8 GHz and 18 GHz.

Abstract: Water and steam quality during operation must be strictly controlled for ultra-supercritical unit. Changes of indicators in water and steam are supervised, water and steam quality and working condition of boiler water, as well as supervision of water and steam quality are reviewed in this paper. Risks of corrosion and scaling in Taishan power plant is assessed. As a result, control effect of TOC is remarkable in Taishan power plant, content of Cl- and SO42- can satisfy the control standard, that is , risk of corrosion and scaling is low. Dissolved oxygen is significantly exceeded in the condensate polishing desalination device , and there has risk of iron deposit. To convert the feed water treatment from AVT(All Volatile Treatment) to OT(Oxygenated Treatment) can solve the problems above .

Abstract: In this research we have set twenty survey stations in Kaohsiung Harbor to conduct on-site sampling and monitoring of sediments. The aim is to analyze their particle diameters, water content, organic matter (OM), total organic carbon (TOC), 4-nonylphenol (4-NP) and 4-tert-octylphenol (4-t-OP) in order to understand the concentration distributions and sources of 4-NP and 4-t-OP in the Harbor sediments. The results indicate that the concentrations of 4-NP and 4-t-OP fall within the ranges of 18–27,882 ng/g dw (average 101±3,580 ng/g dw) and 1.1–1,150 ng/g dw (average 44±174 ng/g dw). The concentrations of 4-NP and 4-t-OP in the river mouths’ sediments are apparently higher and gradually decrease nearer the Harbor, especially the 4-NP of the mouth of Jen-Gen River (average 13,236±9,204 ng/g dw) and the 4-t-OP of the mouth of Love River (average 676±411 ng/g dw). This pattern shows that industrial wastewater and untreated municipal wastewater/sewage are the major sources. The correlation analysis indicates that TOC and OM play an important role in controlling the concentration level of 4-NP and 4-t-OP in the sediments. However, in the pollution hotspot, the direct inflow of pollutants would be the crucial factor that determines the concentration and distribution of organic pollutants in sediments.

Abstract: The paper studied the effect of fuel injection pressure and fuel supply advance angle on characteristics of butanol diesel blend engine.First,the results shows that when the volume ratio of butanol diesel is constant ,the fuel consumption and HC emission are the least under 20°CA.With increase of fuel supply advance angle ,the exhaust smoke emission and CO emission decreased largely under high load, but NOX emission increased largely. When the fuel supply advance angle is constant ,with the increase of volume ratio of butanol diesel ,the fuel consumption increased gradually, the exhaust smoke emission decreased largely, HC emission increased clearly, CO emission decreased largely but NOX emission increased.Third,with increase of fuel injection pressure,the exhaust smoke emission decreased largely ,NOx emission changed a little ,CO and HC emission increased largely.

Effect of Solid Particle on Rough Thermo-Elastohydrodynamic Lubrication with Non-Newtonian Lubricant
Abstract: This paper presents the performance characteristics of rough thermo-elastohydrodynamic lubrication (TEHL) with non-Newtonian liquid–solid lubricant based on a Power law viscosity model. The time independent modified Reynolds equation, elasticity equation and energy equation were solved numerically using finite different method, Newton-Raphson method and multigrid multilevel methods were used to obtain the film pressure profiles and film thickness in the contact region. The effects of amplitude of surface roughness and concentration of solid particles are examined. The simulation results showed surface roughness has rapidly effect on film pressure and film temperature. The effect of solid particle can be increases film thickness and decreases friction coefficient.

Abstract: Environmental worthiness is one of significant quality characteristics of personal protective equipment. By researched the design demand of equipment environment worthiness on domestic and overseas, and viewed in the man-machine-environment system and environment engineering of weapons, we established some environment worthiness technology programs included design, test, and evaluation. The technology program will give the technology support of personal protective equipment quality management.
