Study and Application of Impurity Removal Methods in Tobacco Production

Abstract:

Foreign body removal is a key process to improve the inherent quality of cigarettes and the level of tobacco purify has significant impact on the quality of cigarette. For removing metal debris, you can use the metal detector; removing feathers, film sheet, twine, weeds and other lightweight debris, you can use the winnowing; removing debris that have same mass as tobacco, you will rely mainly on online foreign body removal system, including camera systems or laser optical sorting system. In this paper, methods of purifying tobacco production and their applications were studied, it has important references for other impurity applications in different areas.
