Abstract:

E-government is a new approach for technology management and governance, with the advantage of optimizing workflow, improving government efficiency and promoting openness and transparency of government operations and so on, which is helpful for establishing a service-oriented government. It is widely used in developed countries; however, the construction of domestic E-government faces some problems, such as, talent shortage, insufficient fund, unclear understanding and lacking of information sharing. In order to better promote the construction of E-government, we need to strengthen the awareness of information services, broaden the multi-channel investment, strengthen specialized personals’ training and focus on integration of information resources.
