Simulation of DC-Side Voltage for Shunt Active Power Filter with Fuzzy PI Controller

Article Preview

Abstract:

Traditional PI control strategy for DC-side Voltage of Active Power Filter is difficult to determine parameters, so a parameter self-setting fuzzy PI controller is proposed. Analyzing the principle of APF revealed that the compensation ability to harmonic current is closely related to the dc-side voltage. In the fuzzy control rules, the deviation and its changing rate of actual current from given current are input variables and the PI parameters can be self-adjusting. MATLAB simulation results show that: the fuzzy PI control strategy for dc link voltage, the dc side voltage is more stable, APF filtering effect is better.
