Abstract:

As a high-efficient travel mode in modern city, the metro can not only relieve the ground traffic pressure, but also become the exhibition hall of the urban culture showing us the soul and value of the city. Metro visual communication design of developed countries in the world is almost closely related to the origin of urban culture, then the metro culture with local specialties has been formed. Therefore, comparative study on status quo of metro visual communication design both at home and abroad can direct the integration and regeneration of urban metro visual communication design and urban culture of China, as well as the formation and development of the metro culture.
