Abstract:

In the article the forests are considered as a key element of the “ecological infrastructure” defining living conditions of people. The welfare of more than one billion of people depends on forest goods and services in many respects. The forests are a habitat of the majority of land species, they contribute into stability of agriculture, health care and other sectors connected with flora and fauna.
