Abstract: This article focuses on peat soil ofthe region of the Dian Chi Lake inKunming, the peat soil as research subject. This paperstudy on unconfined compressive strength test of solidifiedpeat soil mainly. In the experimental study of chemical admixtures curing peatsoil, the test hadeight groups. The experimental study of cement soil of different kindsof additives, and study the impact of additives on curing peat soil. It was concluded that the regularof cement soil compressive strength with the increases of chemical admixtureand curing time.

Abstract: Using the waste pavement materials can not only save resources such as bitumen and aggregate, but also reduce the pollution of environment. In this study, the high temperature performance and the moisture stability of recycled SBS modified asphalt mixture were evaluated by rutting test, immersion Marshall Test and freeze-thaw splitting routine test. In addition, the low temperature performance of recycled modified mixture was also analyzed by Fénix test whose operation was simple. The tests results illustrated that it was advantageous to improve the high temperature performance of recycled mixture and it has less influence on moisture stability with the addition of RAP. However, it had a significant adverse effect on the low temperature performance for recycled SBS modified asphalt mixture with a large quantity of RAP content. Therefore, it suggests that the RAP content for recycled SBS modified mixture is not too high.

Abstract: There is a mudstone landslide that poses threat to ramp bridge of Xishan interchange of Xi'an-Baoji Expressway located in Shanxi province, China. This article analyzes the engineering geology and hydrogeological characteristics at first; and then find out that construction loading in the upper of the slope is the main reason for this landslide. Meantime, rainfall and the special geologic conditions of the slope are also two significant contributors to the slide. Landslide thrusts are calculated under natural state (123 kN/m) and saturated state (1645 kN/m) respectively, and used in the analysis of slope stability. A comprehensive treatment with slope cutting, anti-slide pile and drainage is design for the landslide.

Abstract: On the basis of the domestic and overseas scholars’ research, it is innovative to put forward a new precast frame beam-to-column connection. One full-scale beam-to-column connection in a precast concrete(PC)frame and a beam-to-column connection in a cast-in-place concrete structures were tested under uni-directional cyclic loading that simulated earthquake-type motions. The new-type beam-to-column joint in a precast concrete frame consisted of cast-in-place columns and precast beams. Test results showed that(a)The property and action of precast connections are similar to the cast-in-place connection, it showed that both precast connections and cast-in-place connection have similar seismic performance; (b) The cracking load of precast connection are similar to the cast-in-place connection; (c) All the columns of all specimens did not destroy, it illustrate that it conform to the strong column weak beam. (d) In this experiment test, because the control factor use the bending capacity of beam, it also play the same plastic hinge mechanism as the traditional component. All the longitudinal reinforcement destruction ahead of stirrup in beams, which should be confirmed the guiding ideology of strong shear weak bending. On the basis of the test results, design considerations for the beam-to column connection were recommended.

Abstract: Salt rock is a kind ofthe most suitablemedium for energy storages, because of its strongcreep behavior. "Burgers" and "Norton" is the two classic creep models. This paper starts from the establishment of creep constitutive model to obtain the determination method of creep constitutive parameters.Finally, it takes Nanjing salt rock creep test (2003) as an example to solve the parameters in Burgers and Norton constitutive equations.

Abstract: With Xiamen Jiaheyuan underground access as the project background, tunnel face stability of soft shallow tunnel was analyzed under the condition of no pre-reinforcement by means of three-dimensional finite element method. The results indicated that the ground was relaxed because the tensile stress appeared in front and top of tunnel face after excavation, at the same time, the ground into the plastic state around the tunnel face. From the point of view of deformation, the displacement of tunnel face were such as the longitudinal horizontal displacement reached the maximum, the vertical deposition following by, and the lateral horizontal displacement being the least. Further analysis showed that the longitudinal horizontal displacement in front of tunnel face mostly produced at 1.0D (one excavation width) distance before tunnel face, the maximum displacement was located at the center of tunnel face. The conclusions remind that engineers also pay attention to the tunnel face reinforcement in front and top of tunnel face to minimize the impact of surface environment during tunnel construction in soft shallow tunnels.

Abstract: In order to study the performance of concrete frame columns that reinforcedby assembleinclined web steel truss, with the same reciprocatinghorizontal displacement and different axialcompression.It canbe calculate the mechanical behavior of concrete frame columns and reinforced columns by using the finite element analysis software ABAQUS. Simulation analysis shows that the bearing capacity ofreinforced columnshas greatly increased andpresented a full hysteresis curve. The result shows that the reinforcement method of assemble inclined web steel truss can greatly improve the bearing capacity and ductility of the concrete frame column, and the axial compression is larger, the better the reinforcement effect.

Abstract: Tile is one of the most popular materials for high-rise building exterior wall construction in Taiwan. High-rise buildings in Taiwan were first built approximately 35 years ago. Wall tiles of these buildings currently are deteriorated facing the need of repair. In recent years, subject of exterior wall tile inspection at high-rise building have gained considerable attention. Taiwan government enacted the regulations on fire evacuation and equipment inspection for building safety. And attempt to add the article of exterior wall inspection for building safety. In other ways, high-rise buildings were first built approximately 50 years ago in Japan. Inspection and repair work for high-rise buildings plays an important role in the building construction market in Japan. Jurisdiction of Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism legislate the regulations “Periodic Report System”. Exterior wall inspection methods were regulated under these regulations. In order to sustain safety quality environment within existent high-rise buildings, it is necessary for Taiwan government to legislate on exterior wall inspection today. The purpose of this study is to compare the regulations for inspection method of high-rise building exterior wall tile in Taiwan and Japan. We hope the conclusion of this study could give a significant suggestion to Taiwan building inspection method in the future.

Abstract: It has great significanceto conduct comparative analysis on wind load criteria at home and abroad forimproving anti-wind load capacity of the structure. A brief overview of Chinese,American, European and Australia wind load design codes of structure ispresented in this paper. The difference among these wind load codes, theadvantages and disadvantages of Chinese related standards are pointed out.Through comparison of wind load standard between Chinese code and otherstandards, through learning from foreign experience about the determination ofwind load criteria, improvement of wind load of electrical equipment andstandard revised recommendations are provided.
