Abstract: This study analyses efficiency changes of renewable energy installed capacity in a sample of European countries between 2002 and 2011. The non-parametric DEA window analysis technique and yearly data from the electricity industry in 31 European countries are used to compute dynamic measurements of efficiency. The results show that these countries had different exploitation trends of their installed renewable energy plants capacity, and only a small number of them was able to fully take advantage of their plant capacity and achieve and maintain high efficiency rates over the period under examination.

Abstract: Slow transportation system is currently a hot topic among Chinese scholars who are interested in either city planning or urban communications. Although their contentions regarding this issue vary, their concerns can be categorized into two main aspects: traffic speed, and the means of travelling. These two concepts are interconnected, as they at the same time contradict each other. However, traffic speed not only depends on peoples’ travelling methods; In this paper, the researcher intends to accomplish two things; one is to rationally study the “fast and slow” of urban traffic and the pedestrianization of urban streets, the other is to rethink the significance of “slow transportation system.”
