Influence of Modified Organosilicon Waterproofing Agent on Durability of Concrete

Article Preview

Abstract:

Modified organosilicon waterproofing agent was synthetized. It was painted on concrete surface and then the influence of durability on concrete was studied. Results indicate if it is painted on the surface of concrete, it has excellent hydrophobicity and can greatly improve the concrete quality. It can reduce the penetrability coefficient of chloride 6~10 times lower than the one without coating .The agent can prolong reinforced concrete’s life and reduce the carbonization depth of concrete.
