The Design of Coprocessor for Portable Electronic Devices Based on Tightly Coupled Structure

Article Preview

Abstract:

In this paper, we introduced a kind of low cost security coprocessor architecture for portable electronic devices, whose core is the reconfigurable, scalable and tightly coupled security coprocessor architecture. The coprocessor integrates the resources of system effectively, and greatly reduces the power consumption as well as the area of the chip in the case of ensuring the data throughput needed of portable electronic devices.
