The Design of Bending Parts Compound Die

Article Preview

Abstract:

Through analyzing U type bending parts that has bottom-holes, a suitable Compound die that can complete 4 procedures - lancing, bending , punching and be cut off at in the same forming-position was synchronously designed. The die working process and the main points of the design are introduced here. Production testing confirmed that there were different levels of improvements in the product quality, production efficiency and economic efficiency. In order to meet the design and development requirement of the die, the proportion of the compound and progressive dies in the dies production has been increased in consideration of the structure and production costs of the die.
