Abstract:

The "low-carbon" concept has won support from many countries once it was raised. Based on the study of the low-carbon urban communities, this paper gives an introduction to the current problems in designing living environment in China, as well as the design principles of people's living environment in ecological, economical, cultural and artistic aspects. By giving examples and analysis on design examples home and abroad, this paper also elaborates on the future development of the design of people's living environment.
