Analysis of Influence Factors on Anti-Rutting Performance of Fiber Asphalt Mastic and Fiber Asphalt Mixture

Article Preview

Abstract:

In order to improve the rutting performance of asphalt mastic and asphalt mixture, taking rutting factor, phase angle and dynamic stability as the target, the influence on anti-rutting performance of asphalt mastic and asphalt mixture and its variation law are systematically studied by filler-asphalt ratio, filler type, fiber type, fiber content, aging degree and gradation type using dynamic shear rheometer test, rutting test and rotating thin film oven test. The results show that: The filler-asphalt ratio should not be more than 1.4. Fiber to improve the anti-rutting performance of asphalt mastic is better than cement and mineral powder. The improvement of Dolanit fiber on anti-rutting performance of asphalt mastic and mixture is the best. With temperature rises and fiber content increases, the influence of fiber on anti-rutting performance of asphalt mastic decreases. As fiber content increases, the anti-rutting performance of asphalt mixture first increases and then decreases. The anti-rutting performance of asphalt mastic after aging is better. The anti-rutting performance of SMA asphalt mixture is the optimal. Research results have great guiding significance for fiber type selection, fiber content selection and improving asphalt pavement performance.
