Dynamic OD Collecting Method by Mobile Phone Equipped Vehicles

Article Preview

Abstract:

According to the shortcomings of higher strength labors and lower accuracy data of manual methods to collect origin destinations, methods based on mobile phone equipped vehicles to collect dynamic origin destinations are very popular for the fact of large number of users and advanced location technology of mobile phone. However, the existing methods can not meet the requirements to users for the key technologies involved are not adequately effective. Consequently, a new method for collecting dynamic origin-destinations based on mobile phone equipped vehicles is designed, in which two key technologies are researched especially. The results show that the method put forward can produce origin-destinations with higher quality, which will provide reliable decision information for traffic management.
