Article Preview

Abstract:

Germany has always taken the lead in the research of ecological energy-saving design and relevant high technologies in the world, while the appropriate technology is prospering in the ecovillages constructed in a self-organized way. By taking the Bramwich Ecovillage in Hamburg as an example, the present paper carries out primary explorations on appropriate technologies of German ecovillages, and summarizes the reasons of the success for these ecovillages. In the present paper based on the in-field interview and data collection in the ecovillages, the emphasis is put on the analysis of solar energy district heating system, energy conservation measures of low energy building and biological sewage technologies. So the paper is of practical significance in instructing the specific measures in the ecological construction of our country.
