Study on Image Search Engine Based on Color Feature Algorithm

Article Preview

Abstract:

Considering the expansion, stability and the maneuverability of a search engine, a modular search engine based on the combination of keywords, image characteristics and content was designed. For the characteristics of image, a quantified method of color characteristics based on the maximum size of connected regions was raised. Experiments show that the method improves the retrieval efficiency and can get an expected search result more accurately, so as to satisfy the customer’s needs.
