New Locating Method of Spatial Target with 3-R Range-Only

Article Preview

Abstract:

Based on the geometric relationship of the tetrahedron, 3-R target location theorem and calculation principle are given, and analytical model of locating built on distances between three stations and the target is put forward. In theory, we analyze its location precision and present its emulation about the precision. Besides, we give an analysis of some application examples on radar network and target tracking. This method is convenient to operate and easy to implement, without variable coupling.
