Production Logistics System Simulation about Automobile Parts Shop Based on Witness and E-Factory

Article Preview

Abstract:

Aimed at the problems existed in the production logistics system for the automobile parts’ shop which has the characteristics of multi-product and small quantities, in this paper a production logistics simulation model is first established based on the witness to analyze the bottleneck of the current production line and to reengineer a new production process. Then a visual simulation model is established based on the e-factory to optimize the layout planning and the dynamic material handling system of the production logistics system which has been improved above. The results of this investigation present guidance and reference for other small and medium enterprises.
