Performance Study of Photovoltaic Semiconductor Cooling Box

Article Preview

Abstract:

A prototype of photovoltaic semiconductor cooling box was designed based on the demand of energy saving and environmental protection. This paper presents the composition and working principle of the prototype. The data of the lowest internal temperature of the cooling box was gained by measuring the actual operational performance of the system at different ambient temperatures. And according to the experimental results, the coefficient of performance of the system was derived. The obtained results showed that the minimum air temperature inside the cooling box can be maintained within 6~10°Cand the coefficient of performance can reach up to 0. 28~0.32 in the hot summer days.
