Dyeing Research of Aramid Fiber-Nomex

Article Preview

Abstract:

Nomex has very high crystallization degree, the mindset degrees and chemical stability, which makes its dyeing highly difficult. In the presented investigation special auxiliaries were employed to enlarge Nomex molecular gaps in order to lower the Van der Waals forces between the members and make it much easier for the dyestuffs to penetrate the fiber. The dyeing rate was also promoted significantly.
