Analysis on the Morphological Structure Characterization of the down and Feather of Duck and Goose

Abstract:

This paper begin with the structural characterization of down and feather of the duck and goose.The surface morphological structure and the composition group structure of down and feather fibers were investigated by using FESEM, FTIR. The results showed there are many differences in the down and feather fibers such as the morphological structure of nodes, the content of -SH group. The study conclusion provide a useful reference for the further research and quality inspection.
