Exploitation of Database Application System for Elements of Ethnic Apparel

Abstract:

This thesis mainly aims to develop the database application system for elements of ethnic apparel based on present –day garment design theory in the way of conducting an abstract and classified summary of the ethnic apparel elements whose digitization expression realizes the desirable functions such as retrieval, scan, result display and process, information management and so on. And this database application system is not only an information carrier for cultural heritage for ethnic apparel, but also treasure-house for contemporary garment design.
