The Design of Simulation Signal Source for Fish Torpedo Testing Based on DSP

Simulation signal source is applied to simulate sonar target signals in performance testing and guarantee maintenance of the torpedo. In this paper, the working principle of a simulation signal source for torpedo testing is described. USB bus communication interface and method of hardware designing are discussed in detail, and finally the software design of simulated signal source is analyzed. Experiments show that the simulation signal source can achieve a variety of signal modulation, superimposed, arbitrary waveform signals, meeting the need of the torpedo test.
