Selection and Application of Materials for Node Landscapes of Highway Exampled by Northeast Area of China

Abstract:

Currently the landscape design of highway in China is a focus; besides the landscapes along highway, the selection on construction materials for node landscapes of highway entrance, exit, viewing platform, service area and etc. is quite important, which is also a key point if the landscape engineering succeeds. By taking the actual projects in northeast area of China, the paper, under the particular climate characteristics of the area, adopts multiple research approaches and integrates cutting-edge material science to discuss the approach and principle of selection and application of materials for node landscapes of highway, which is rather instructive to the selection on materials for landscapes in other similar areas with the same latitude or climate characteristics.
