Outage Analysis and System Integrity of an 11kV Distribution System

Article Preview

Abstract:

The paper studied the various faults occurrence on the 11kV the Coca Cola feeder (in Kaduna South of Nigeria) and the outages encountered due to such faults. The equipment installed on the feeder and their specifications were identified. The monthly maximum load analysis of the injection substation was conducted. The paper proposes measures of minimizing faults and recommends the ring main system of distribution as a means of improving the system integrity of the distribution system.
