Abstract:

The Qingdao Jiaozhou Bay Subsea Tunnel is the main important straitcrossing road linking the main city and complement city. The tunnel is about 7.8km long with six two-way lanes, which about 3.95km in sea area. The maximum waterdepth of tunnel in Jiaozhou bay is 42m, and the deepest point of crown to the sea-level is 78m. The land section is dominated by grantie, and the sea section is composited of volcanics and sub volcanics , in which the minning method was used. Combining with the layout and technical standard of Qingdao Jiaozhou bay subsea tunnel, this paper gave the detailed introduction of tunnel construction condition, construction scale, technical standards, plane alignment, vertical section selection, and construction technology.
