Urban Traffic Corridors Determination Based on Characteristics of OD Data-Nanning City as an Example

Abstract:

Based on the analysis of the characteristics of OD data, method of cluster analysis has been used to extract the morphological characteristic of travel demand. According to the positions of distribution points for passenger, the position and direction of traffic corridor have been finally determined. This method has been used in Nanning city and the result shows that this method could provide reference to urban public transit planning.
