Abstract: Combined with the homogenization method and the least squares method, the filter function with the form of power function is studied in the Independent Continuum Map (ICM) method. Then, the numerical simulation method is used to study the relationship between a weight filter function and a stiffness filter function. Finally, the impact of the filtration function on the efficiency of topology optimization is showed by examples. It is important to further research structural topology optimization.

Abstract: In an embedded system, a large amount of high real-time data processing is required. A TrueFFS method on the embedded VxWorks system is put forward to improve the data access speed and saving storage space of the embedded system. In this paper, the TrueFFS structure is analyzed, its establishing process is realized based on VxWorks. As an embedded operating system's main storage medium to build the TrueFFS, flash can improve system access speed and facilitate the upgrade of follow-up procedures.

Abstract: An improved genetic algorithm is proposed by introducing selection operation and crossover operation, which overcomes the limitations of the traditional genetic algorithm, avoids the local optimum, improves its convergence rate and the diversity of population, and solves the problems of population prematurity and slow convergence rate in the basic genetic algorithm. Simulation results show that compared with other improved genetic algorithms, the proposed algorithm is better in finding global optimal and convergent rate.

Abstract: This paper discusses a shape retrieval study based on geometric signature. We apply a variation signature method to extract the geometric feature of shapes. Then, we compare the performance of geometric signature and Fourier descriptor. The geometric signature gets a recall of 74.498%, precision of 71.519%, and F-measure of 72.978% while the Fourier descriptor gets a recall of 18.326%, precision of 17.593%, and F-measure of 17.952%. The proposed method performs better.

Abstract: In this paper,an improved genetic algorithm was proposed, which is applicable to binocular camera calibration. On the one hand, conventional encoding method is improved so that variable search interval can be adjusted adaptively. On the other hand, crossover and mutation probability is varied by using superiority inheritance principle to avoid premature question. Experimental results show that the proposed method has a higher calibration accuracy and better robustness, compared to those of non-linear calibration methods. The proposed method is able to improve the performance of global optimization effectively.

Abstract: When laser is transmitting through the atmosphere, both the light intensity and the polarized properties of laser can be changed because of the scattering of the gaseous molecules and suspended motes. In order to study the polarized properties of atmospheric scatter, we designed an experiment to measure the degree of depolarization of atmospheric scatter and did the experimental measurement in line-of-sight laser link under different weather conditions. Then, we analyzed and discussed the experimental results in detail. We found that fog can influence the polarized properties of laser seriously and the other weathers only have a little influence. During the experiment we obtained a great quantity of data which could present strong reliance to improve the atmospheric random channel model.

Abstract: The paper analyses the feature of the color blind when they distinguish colors, and according to their physiological feature, a new strategy of designing color based on mapping arithmetic and thesis of designing color are proposed, and a model for the color blindness to choose color in contrast is realized. Finally, the system is proved effectively through merging into the solid works software.

Abstract: Based on a cutting dynamics model, a new digital machining process model that integrates workpiece quality and machining condition information is proposed, and the mapping relationship between machine tool structural dynamics and product quality information (e.g., dimension error, surface shape) is analyzed in detail. On the basis of the digital machining process model, the condition monitoring and fault diagnosis method of the machining process is investigated, and an implementation flowchart of the method is proposed with explanations of critical techniques. Finally, the proposed model is applied to the condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of the machining process of a CNC end milling machine. The damage of its spindle bearing is detected successfully, which provides the proof for the root cause identification of machining error in the digital machining process.
