Abstract: In order to resolve material ordering and inventory control problem in supply chain, optimization method based on GA is put forward. Supply chain model in the paper is made up of one supplier, one manufacturer, N-retailers and end customers. Moreover, supply chain model is developed in terms of two policies: traditionally centralized controlling policy and the coordinating controlling policy. Lastly, optimizing ordering and inventory control problem for supply chain is solved by genetic algorithm (GA), and an instance is illustrated to show the validity of the method.

Abstract: The dynamic characteristics quality of automated warehouse directly affects its reliability and efficiency. It is difficult to get the dynamic properties of automated warehouse with traditional design methods. The physical model of the GWD2005 automatic warehouse is established with the finite element method. Modal analysis is applied to stacker structure. Natural frequency and vibration mode of automated warehouse is confirmed. The instability factors of existing structure vibration are studied. The results show that the analysis method is effective to design the structure of automated warehouse.

Abstract: In order to improve the efficiency of assembly modeling and provide a complete assembly model for assembly sequence planning (ASP), a method of assembly modeling based on polychromatic sets (PS) is proposed. Firstly, the assembly information of 3D Component is obtained by API function in SolidWorks. In addition, assembly incident matrix, information matrix and mapping matrix are built. On the basis of these matrixes, a method of location modeling is explored. The interference relation matrix is developed by judging the spatial location and analyzing dynamic interference relation among parts. Finally, a case study is given to verify the method.

Abstract: In order to improve efficiency and quality of tube process, a new process planning method for NC tub bending is proposed. Factors affecting NC tube bending process is firstly discussed, and NC bending process planning is also achieved by theoretical process set calculation, occurrence of interference processes set analysis, clamping difficult process analysis and optimal set of processes selection. The method above is effective and useful for planning process of the complex tube bending parts.

Abstract: CNC milling process parameters is the key issue to improve quality and productivity of product and save cost. Especially, in the end milling of the pockets, the radial depth and real feed vary as the end mill moves along the corner. This will result in the unstable of the cutting force and the bad accuracy of the milled pockets. In this paper, according to analysis of CNC machining process, the model of dynamic cutting force based on knowledge in the end milling of the pockets is established, which is predicted by the model of cutting force coefficient. The optimization milling parameters can be calculated in terms of the model of dynamic cutting force in the pockets, work piece material properties. In the end, the experiment proves the process of optimization.

Abstract: In order to describe the evolution of the manufacturing system from disorder to order, the order parameters of synergetic is applied. According to the basic features and selection principles of the order parameters, the order parameter of manufacturing system and the order parameter evaluation index system are put. On this basis, the quantitative analysis model on order degree of manufacturing system is proposed. The order degree of manufacturing system according to the statistical data from year 2000 to 2008 in China is taken out. The results show that the order degree of the manufacturing system in China which gradually and orderly develops to the benign direction is increasing year by year. It conforms to the current situation of manufacturing industry in China.

Abstract: Production sequence of workpieces on machines, also called job-shop scheduling problem (JSP), is a focus both in academics and in practices. The research on the problem can promote theoretical progress, shorten the production cycles, improve efficiency in using resources, and strengthen market response in actual production. Ant colony optimization (ACO) is very suitable for the solving of the problem. In the paper, a disjunctive graph model of JSP is set up, which transforms the problem into a natural expression that is suitable for ACO. Then, realization steps of ACO for JSP are discussed. Finally, a 3×3 JSP problem is solved in Jbuilder X. The obtained optimal solution verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of ACO in solving JSP.

Abstract: The job-shop scheduling is the key element of a manufacturing execution system (MES). It is significant for enterprises to utilize resources rationally, enhance product quality, shorten production cycle, reduce production cost, and improve its market competitiveness. In the paper, Simulated Annealing (SA) algorithm is adopted to solve the job-shop scheduling problem. SA algorithm is a random search method proposed to solve large-scale combinatorial optimization problems. As an efficient and general method, the optimization and convergence performance of SA algorithm is mainly affected by the problem and several factors. In order to facilitate use’s employment, a job-shop scheduling system based on SA algorithm is developed using Delphi. The system developed is verified by an example. The results show that it is an effective solution to the job-shop scheduling problems.

Abstract: In order to improve the inventory control efficiency and quality in manufacturing company, one production scheduling optimization method is put forward. Simulation of production model is firstly constructed, such as description of the production model, simulation data, machine processes and scheduling model. Moreover, Genetic Algorithm is applied to generate a production schedule for efficient running of machine. The simulation result is analyzed to verify the method by comparing product simulation with actual production.

Abstract: Information quality of product plays a very important role in digitization manufacturing. In this paper, firstly, the content of product information in digitization manufacturing processes is analyzed in detail. Then, assessment index system of product information quality is constructed. Thirdly, assessment method of product information quality based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is also proposed. Finally, an investigation of product quality inspection and measurement information in one enterprise proves that the method can assess product information quality in digitization manufacturing effectively, which lays a foundation for decisions-making.
