Application of Random Medium Model in Analyzing Surface Settlement Caused by Pit Excavation

Article Preview

Abstract:

Random medium theory is introduced in this paper. It derived the vertical and horizontal displacement of the surface subsidence with the random medium theory, which caused by excavation, and integrated the overall surface displacement. It was verified with practical examples. The results can provide technical information for the excavation and supporting.
