Research for Renewal Countermeasure of the Historic Block of Qiqihar Catholic Church under Market Economy

Abstract:

Since the 1990s, Economic system of China altered from the planned economy to market economy. This brought opportunity and challenges to the renewal and transformation of the historic blocks. With the economic developing, those historic blocks are constantly renewing. But the conflicts highlight increasingly between economic benefit and the protection. This paper analyzed the relationship between the economic benefit and the protection of the historic block of Qiqihar Catholic Church updating. Starting with create a commercial public space, proposed the renewal countermeasure of the historic block of Qiqihar Catholic Church from functional complex, traffic Organization, Space shape and Landscape design. Tried to solve the contradiction between the economic benefit and the old block protection, develop the economic benefit, social benefit and the environment benefit hormonally.
