The Construction of IC Service and University Library’s Café

Abstract:

With the information era’s coming, readers’ requirements and behaviors have changed, so the university library need to innovate traditional ways of management and service. The establishment of cafe in the library caters to the reading requirements of readers; it is a one-stop service including the learning support, culture and leisure, intercourse and collaboration. The background of university library’s cafe is analyzed briefly; its functions and constructing elements are explained in detail. The university library cafe will be the information acquisition, knowledge learning and cooperation exchange place which has comfortable environment, improved equipments and centralized functions.
