Abstract: For the problem of analysis of earthquake response of cable-stayed tower bridge, the foundation is given as the rigid consolidation, do not consider the interaction of soil and structure, the finite element software ABAQUS is used for seismic response analysis. Taking the TCU052 and EI Centro wave which have different characteristics as the input of bridge tower, first to carry out the modal analysis of bridge tower structure, get various order of modal frequency of the bridge tower, then analyses the displacement response of the top of bridge tower in the bridge direction, the results showed that, under the pulse type seismic action the displacement response of bridge tower of large span cable-stayed bridge are increased.

Abstract: A single-phase flow CFD model is presented for predicting the pressure and flow distribution in parallel connected manifolds. The validation of the proposed CFD model is tested by its application to simulate flow behavior in intake and exhaust conduits. The simulated results are compared with the experimental data by Luo et al. and satisfactory agreements are found between the simulations and experiment. Using the proposed CFD model, the influences of flow rate, inner diameter ratio ψ and ψ0 on the flow distribution were investigated. From the simulated results, it can be found that non-uniform flow distribution is dependent on the flow rate in conduits. It is also found that inner diameter ratio play an important role on flow distribution. Proper flow rate and inner diameter ratio chosen will improve the uniformity of flow distribution.

Abstract: In this study, the sorption of single heavy metal (Cu2+, Pb2+ and Zn2+) and multiple heavy metals in simulated metallurgical wastewater by montmorillonite was investigated. The effect of adsorption time and temperature conditions, etc. on the adsorption was also studied. The results showed that in the same concentration of adsorbent dosage, removal rate of single heavy metal is the highest (99.9%, 88.1% and 98.3%) when the concentration of Cu2+, Pb2+ and Zn2+ is 50 mg/L, 20mg/L and 100mg/L, respectively. The adsorption of multiple heavy metals in simulated metallurgical wastewater is the highest in 4 hours at 20°C. The adsorption capacity is in order of Pb2+≈Zn2+>Cu2+>Cd2+ and removal rate is 90.8%, 87.3%, 70.0% and 51.6%, respectively.

Abstract: Focused on the S-shape deviation problem in the narrow fabric production process, this paper introduces an intelligent control system with DC servomotor as the actuator for an intermediate guide roll system. To improve the dynamic performance of the deviation control system and solve the motor vibration problem, the deviation control algorithm is proposed, which is related to intelligent PD feedback control combined with the feed-forward regulation for the system deviation, and its MatLab simulation results show its good performances and advantages. Furthermore, a technical approach for the deviation controller using DSP processor chip TMS320F2812 is presented. The system is applied in the intermediate guide roll system, and the application result indicates that the system is characterized by fast response and steady operation and it is a good solution for the motor vibration.

Abstract: Color management method for photographed image files is the key to guarantee the color consistency in the succedent image production. Based on machine learning a new color management method for photographed image is advanced in the paper. First, the method selects the color shade districts of IT/8 color target as experiment sample and is taken to stand for the color space to decrease the calculation of the model. Second the method pretreats sampled data to a unitary field to satisfy the scope requirement of the input and output data of the BP neural network. Third, the active item which can adjust BP model step dynamically is used to increase convergence speed of the BP model. Finally, the experimental results indicates that the method can improve color conversion accuracy and can satisfy the engineering requirement in color management for photographed image files.

Abstract: This paper introduces the ornamental characteristics and ecological habits of European hornbeam, concretely expounds the formative arts of European hornbeam and its application in landscape, the formative arts of European hornbeam include natural type, geometric type, monopode tree type, hedges, weave and binding type and puts forward the problems that we should pay attention to in configuration, and looks forward to further expanding the application in landscape of this plant.

Abstract: This paper studies the validity evaluation problem of free allocation with preferential policy for initial emission permits (IEP), and establishes a validity evaluation model to evaluate the validity level for the free allocation of IEP based on the uniform price auction mechanism and model. Concretely, the definition of validity for the free allocation is presented, and the evaluation criterion and the evaluation process are given. Moreover, this evaluation model is applied to evaluate the validity level for the chemical oxygen demand (COD) in 14 counties and cities of Han River. Based on the evaluation results, several conclusions and suggestions are given on the pollutant discharging declare, environmental policy and free allocation method.

Abstract: The diffusion coefficient is one of the basic physical parameters of reflecting the property of wooden building materials, and it is the indispensable datum to calculate the dehydration time, estimate qualitatively the corrosion extent, provide the theoretical parameters for the protection technoiogy of the wooden building materials. The method of measuring diffusion coefficient of the wooden building materials is provided on the basis of Fick’s second law in this paper. The diffusion coefficient can be calculated using the given method by measuring the dehydration time, the initial water content and the stable water content after dehydration. The testing method is simple and feasible. Take a wooden materials for example, the experimental result is analyzed which indicates that the measurement method is reasonable.

Abstract: The problem of delay-dependent robust stability of uncertain stochastic systems with time-varying delay is discussed in this paper. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii theory and free-weighting matrix technique, new delay-dependent stability criterion is presented. The criterion is in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) which can be solved by various available algorithms.
