Abstract: A high speed 8B/10B Encoder/Decoder is presented in this paper. The Encoder/Decoder is based on Altera’s low cost FPGA Cyclone family. The Encoder/Decoder includes parallel pipeline structure. The Encoder/Decoder is applied to the Serializer/Deserializer (SERDES) of high-speed serial bus. The Encoder/Decoder is synthesized and simulated by Quartus II 9.1. The synthesis and analysis results show the maximum frequency is more than 359MHz. The timing simulation results show the clock frequency is more than 125 MHz. The single channel data rate of serial bus can get to 1.25Gbps. The proposed Encoder/Decoder can meet the requirements of most high-speed serial bus.

Abstract: Multi-core and dataflow architecture recently researched on parallel computing can well satisfy the requirement of high-performance for PLC processors handling program by exploiting parallelism in the program. But the compiler translating the ladder diagram program into the instructions of the architecture has not been yet developed. For the problem, the paper presents a compiler aiming at editing a ladder diagram which is one of programming languages of PLC and then compiling it into instructions of multi-core function-level dataflow architecture. The compiler takes row doubly linked list as internal representation of a ladder diagram, and logic binary tree as intermediate representation during the process of compiling according to similarity of the binary tree to function-level dataflow graph, written in java.

Abstract: Micro-ring resonator based on silicon-on-insulator (SOI) has been extensively studied due to its many advantages, thus promising to improve the optoelectronic integrated circuit performance. This paper highlights the study of the free carrier injection effect on the silicon rib waveguide with p-i-n diode structure integrated in the SOI micro-ring resonator. The free carrier concentrations have been modulated by the electrical signal that can cause change of refractive index of the micro-ring resonator. The device performances are predicted by using numerical modelling software 2D SILVACO and Finite Difference Time Domain method simulation software RSOFT. The results show the change of refractive index is maximized at a greater applied voltage. A shift in resonant wavelength of around 6.7 nm was predicted at 0.9V with 1.14x10-3 refractive index change. It is also shown that 8.5dB change of the output response obtained through the output.

Abstract: Exception propagation affects the dependences of an Object-Oriented program, which must be taken into account when calculating program slicing; otherwise the result may be not precise. This paper proposes an approach to construct the extended interclass dependence graph and the Object-Oriented system dependence graph, which are able to represent the influence of exception propagation on the dependences of Object-Oriented programs precisely. In addition, the program slicing algorithm proposed by S. B. Horwitz has been extended, which is able to traverse both the extended interclass dependence graph and the Object-Oriented system dependence graph when calculating program slicing. Finally, we evaluate our approach with an experiment and compare it with other approaches. The result shows that our approach more precise.

Abstract: This paper based on the energy consumption simulation model of chiller system, by analyzing the composition of chiller energy consumption, proposes to compute the best optimal controlling parameters by using simulated annealing algorithm in order to reduce energy consumption. The optimizing process of the best settings of each controllable variable is introduced which use the simulated annealing algorithm in the running chiller system, and the effects of simulated annealing running has been simulated.

Abstract: Spherical gears with helix tooth traces are proposed to enhance loaded capacity and improve the sensitivity to assembly errors. The hobbing process for spherical gears is illustrated, and then developed the mathematical model of imaginary rack cutter. Abstract: Control the concrete temperature to reduce the temperature cracks is one of the main tasks in the concrete dam construction. Water cooling is the most effective temperature control measure of concrete dam. In connection with the concrete temperature field of cooled computational problems, according to the water and heat exchange between the concrete and cooling water pipes, The cooling pipe is considered as the effect source of heat, and the effect of the water cooling is considered on average meaning, and then the approximate temperature field can be obtained through the finite element.

Abstract: There is the Jinggu-Minle road to cross through the No. 3 ore clusters in Songjiapo copper mine. The surface ground deformation and strata movement caused by underground mining will threaten the road transportation safety, which doesn’t allow collapse. Using numerical simulation method, the ground pressure activity and deformation, movement mechanism of strata were analyzed under different mining methods. Moreover, some control measures such as reserving insulating pillar and point pillars were put forward to maintain the stability of mined-out areas and the surface road. An optimal mining scheme was recommended. The results showed that the mining process of No. 3 ore clusters can’t cause direct failure to road, and the failure of hanging wall rock will have indirect influence to the road with the lapse of time. Reserving the insulating pillar, top pillar and point pillars can effectively reduce the plastic area range of hanging wall and strata failure in the mining process. The results can provide theoretical basis for the actual mining design and rock strata control.

Abstract: According to the practical physical dimension and processing parameters of torpedo in a factory, Eulerian multiphase model was applied and adopting porous media model for the gas flow through the porous refractory, desulphurization process model was coupled, the desulphurization process of melted iron in torpedo with bottom blowing were computed using mathematical simulation approach, effect of bottom blowing technique was discussed. The results show that: Compared with the desulphurization behavior of melted iron in torpedo without bottom blowing, porous refractories were located at the bottom of torpedo in order to mixing melted iron by blowing gas, even using 30m3/h gas flow rate, desulphurizing result is improved. As the gas flow rate increased, the desulphurizing result become better. The desulphurizing result of bottom blowing between inlet and the end at the bottom of torpedo is better, especially the position of 2500mm. Blowing in 260s after the end of dust can avoid resulfuring and decrease sulfur content.

Abstract: Based on multi-body dynamics, finite element method and solid modeling technology, a dynamic model combined rigid bodies and flexible bodies about passive vibration isolation system of combustion engine with flexible base was built. A simulation analysis was done for a passive vibration isolation system of four-cylinder diesel supported on a flexible flat plate. Simulation result showed static balance and exciting force were same with theory calculation. Through changing support stiffness between flexible flat plate and ground, boundary condition of flexible base could be changed. And the characteristics of vibration isolation were obtained when combustion engine’s flexible base had different stiffness. Compared bearing force of vibration isolator on flexible base with bearing force on rigid base, the results could be gotten that flexible base had important influence to bearing force of vibration isolator and free vibration influenced by base’s flexibility might become main factor to influence change of vibration isolator’s bearing force.
