Study on Anti-Galloping Mechanism and Experimental Effect of the Rotary Clamp Spacer

Article Preview

Abstract:

The rotary clamp spacer is a new type of anti-galloping equipment, and it has been already widely used to restrain the line galloping, but the profit and the effect of this spacer need to be studied. On the basis of extensive research this paper presents the mechanism and causation of line galloping, and analyses the configuration and the anti-galloping mechanism of the rotary clamp spacer, and investigates the overseas application and the effect of the rotary clamp. The investigations demonstrate that the rotary clamp spacer has better anti-galloping effect than bundle conductor spacer
